Whittaker Engineering are proud to announce gaining ASME ‘U2’, ‘U’ and National Board ‘R’ stamp authorisation for the manufacture of pressure vessels on site and the repair of ASME pressure vessels on and off site.
EN 1090 Accreditation achieved.
Whittaker are now approved by DNV-GL to provide Welding services to Ships Classification for Hull Structures, Hull Equipment, Pressure Vessels, Pipelines and Machinery Components.

Our new Bost VTL is due for delivery in the next few weeks, preparations for it's arrival are continuing.
Whittaker have designed and manufactured new Gypsies and Fairleaders for the Gryphon 'A' FPSO to DNV-OS-E301 Class Specifications. The units are manufactured from DNV NV-690 high strength structural steel and are designed to withstand the breaking load of the R5 mooring chains even if the load is applied at an off-angle as a result of friction in the fairlead bearings. Previous designs have not properly accounted for this.
