Structural
Drawing on our decades of experience and problem-solving skills, we specialise in fabrications where difficulties like weight constraints, distortion controls and straightness tolerances are significant.
Pipework
We work with carbon steel, stainless steels, duplex, cunifer, aluminium and aluminium bronze, machining non-standard flanges in-house and pressure-testing all pipework before delivery.
Profile Cutting
With four CNC profile cutters, we can oxy-propane cut plate to 600mm, and waterjet up to 200mm. We can cut plate sizes up to 5m x 3m on-site.
Product Testing
At Whittaker, we have a policy of testing our own products in-house, wherever possible, before shipping. As a result, we can offer a testing service, with load, cycle, and destructive tests as well as drop tests to DNV2.7-1.
